Prepare In September For Big Changes & Fresh Beginnings

Hello to the end of summer! As we plunge into autumn (here in the northern hemisphere, anyway) we're all subjected to many changes. Most of them are predictable like the kids going back to school, the shortening of days, the cooling of temperatures, and the annual return of pumpkin spice everything. Haha!

But more than that, September this year is bringing change for every single sign in the zodiac. That includes you. Here's what you can expect and how to best deal with it.

On September 7 we're going to experience a full lunar eclipse, which will occur in Pisces. Then on September 21 we'll experience a partial solar eclipse in Virgo. Lots of big happenings in the universe and we need to be prepared for the impact they will have on our lives.

Pisces are all about emotion. They are still waters which run deep. They may look calm on the surface but underneath they are swirling emotional chaos. With the lunar eclipse occurring in Pisces you can expect it to cause some emotional upheaval.

Virgo is the season we're currently in, having left the confidence of Leo back in mid-August. The virgin's wheelhouse is practical planning and this will come into play later in the month.

With these factors in mind I pulled a single random card: The Wheel of Fortune. The Wheel of Fortune feels like a rather fortunate pull, indeed. One of the most prominent signals from this card is significant change. As the events in the sky will show us, change is coming and it's coming for all of us.

Let's dive first into the lunar eclipse coming on September 7. It will bring a lot of emotional upheaval thanks to occurring in Pisces. One of the biggest emotional challenges will be to your relationships, whether romantic or otherwise.

Relationships go through ups and downs and are generally cyclical in nature. If you're in a stable, happy relationship I bet your first thought is, "oh no! The Wheel of Fortune card means I'm doomed for a break up." This is not true. What it *does* mean is to prepare for a conflict or some friction.

On the flip side, if you're having a difficult time with your relationships you'll be the one airing grievances and making your unhappiness known. Here's the most important takeaway; conflicts will present themselves in the coming month and now is the time to deal with them. The lunar eclipse is bringing hidden issues to the surface and the Wheel of Fortune is encouraging you to face these challenges and changes head on.

My best piece of advice is to practice patience. Have patience with your tumult of feelings, have patience with your partner as they change or tell you secrets, and have patience with the changes to come. The only thing we're promised are big changes... not quick changes and not painless changes.

Patience will be key to choosing the healthiest coping strategies, the healthiest path forward, and the healthiest outlook on the situation.

There's a bit of a silver lining later in the month, though, when the partial solar eclipse occurs in Virgo. Virgo is a planner, a practical and reasonable entity, and you'll benefit from this because these positive traits come right on the heels of the "big change".

Remember what I said about having patience? Well, in doing so just two weeks later when the solar eclipse hits you'll find yourself being rather reasonable, you'll find your relationships being reasonable, and you'll find these partners wanting to pursue a reasonable and practical path forward with you. It may mean dissolving the relationship, it may mean changing the relationship's rules/boundaries, or it may mean working on a latent problem. It may be surprising, but you'll both be pretty levelheaded about moving forward and most importantly you'll work together on whatever goal you've chosen.

We were never promised pain-free changes but changes you can feel good about, are supported in making, and on even ground with the other party is about as good as a painful change can go.

So, take this month with patience and know that while it feels rather emotional and upsetting, calm is coming as September winds down to October. These changes are not welcome right now but in a month you may see things very differently.
